About Me

Meet Daniella

Hi, I'm Dani 🍀

I’m a counsellor who values authenticity, respect, and collaboration. Creating a safe, inclusive space is central to my practice, with sessions that are judgement-free, client-led, and centred on what matters most to you.

You’ll also meet Jerry, our cat. He loves jumping in to say hello during Telehealth sessions.

Outside of Counselling, I enjoy reading, swimming, movies, going for walks, basketball, and spending time with my loved ones. As a late-identified autistic and ADHD adult, I bring lived experience to my work and care deeply about helping create a world that genuinely supports neurodivergent people.

Neuroaffirming care means recognising and supporting the full diversity of how minds work. I celebrate difference rather than trying to ‘fix’ it. My approach is strengths-based, and I value each person’s unique way of thinking, feeling and being.

This might look like:

  • Communication in the way that works for you: phone, email, text, preferred tone and language

  • Session summaries available if helpful

  • Optional pre-session email/form to share anything you'd like me to know or set a session plan

  • Camera optional in online sessions

  • Sensory-friendly space: fidgets, movement, weighted items all welcome

  • Lighting, sound and captions adjusted to what feels most comfortable

  • Move around, sit, lie down, or walk during sessions

  • No pressure to mask: info-dumping, stimming and pauses are all okay (and encouraged!)

  • You set the pace. Sessions are built around you
